Orange gradient
Statement pieces. Real mirrors, hand-lacquered with color. Made to order in your chosen shape, gradient and size.
The name symbolises constant transition. From clear glass into color. From an idea into an inimitable piece.
Each mirror is made by hand in our studio, with a transparent lacquer in saturated colors. Its final character is shaped by the hands that created it. The precision, movement and distance from the surface decide the tone.
The lacquer is transparent, but may slightly soften the reflection.
Each piece is shaped around the room it lives in. In your chosen color and form. Optional halo lighting behind the mirror. For private interiors, hotels, restaurants or events.
Each piece is hand-lacquered to order with transparent metallic dyes. The mirror keeps its reflection while gaining depth, intensity and a character entirely its own. Neptune has its depths. Saturn has its rings.
A tonal transition flowing from the middle of the mirror to the top or the bottom. The cobalt gradient reminds a sky and ocean. A golden gradient reminds the light of a sunset.
Inspired by the ring of the planet. A vivid halo of color wraps around the edge of the mirror, framing a different color at the centre. The ring shifts from golden-green to pink and amber, transforming with every change of light.
Every piece begins as a real mirror, cut to your chosen shape and size.
Transparent metallic dyes are sprayed onto the surface by hand. The color builds in tone and intensity. The artist's precision, the movement and the distance from the surface decide the result. The mirror dries for several days before the next step.
A clear top coat is applied. After a few days, the mirror is polished by hand to the desired reflection. The surface can be re-polished if scratched, and the color washed off entirely if a new design is desired later.
No two pieces are identical. Each mirror carries its own form, tone and gradient. The mirror and the lacquer are UV resistant.
